Indonesia is a region that has high vulnerability of earthquakes and thus require a detailed mapping of areas vulnerable of earthquakes. Recording mikrotremor conducted to determine the level of seismic vulnerability in an area. Seismic vulnerability index distribution measurement has been done at Hasanuddin University. Data is collected for 35 minutes using a set of short-period seismograph-303S portable type TDL (3 components) at 43 measuring points with the distance of each point is 100 m. The data obtained was microtremor recorded in time function, which subsequently analyzed using the method of Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR), which compares the spectrum of the horizontal component and vertical component spectrum. Values of dominant frequency (f0) and the amplification (A) then used to obtain the seismic vulnerability index (IKS). The results show that the value of dominant frequency (f0) ranged from 0.61 to 8.6 Hz with an average below 1 Hz, the amplification (A) is in the interval 0.8 to 2.7 while the value of the seismic vulnerability index (IKS) is in the interval 0.2 to 2.3. The value of f0, A, and low IKS suggests that Hasanuddin University not include in area that has level of damage to buildings against earthquakes is high.
